Sabumnim is the korean word for instructor and Boosabumnim means assistant instructor. Sabumnim applies to instructors between the ranks of III Dan to IV Dan and Boosabumnim from I Dan to III Dan.

Sabumnim Michael Byrnes has over 15 years experience in Taekwon-Do, a IV Dan Black Belt, B Class International Taekwon-Do Federation Umpire, a Level 1 Coach (National Coaching Accreditation Scheme), Active After School Communities Coach, UWA Uni Sports for Kids Coach, and Quenda Murdoch Uni Kids Sports Coach.
